Tango Dunedin is delighted to welcome Anne-Maree Therkleson back for our first weekend of workshops and dancing for 2019.
Anne-Maree's workshops last year were fantastic, so it will be wonderful to have her joining us again on February 16 and 17.
All workshops and the Saturday milonga are in Room 205, King Edward Court.
WORKSHOP 1 - Saturday February 16 - 12.30-2 The Subtle Art of Crossing This workshop focusses on making the most of the cross and how to extend it into beautiful movements highlighting connection, embrace and navigation.
WORKSHOP 2 - Saturday February 16 - 2.30 to 4 The Power of the Rebound Essential variations of rebounds focussing on musicality and dancing in tight spots with fluidity of movement.
WORKSHOP 3 - Sunday February 17 - 1.30-3 Sassy Sacadas This is fun class using sacadas to maximise turns and create space for improvisation.
$20 per workshop or $50 for all three.
Milonga Saturday February 16 - 8.00 till late. $10. Bring a plate and/or a beverage. DJ Monica. We will also have our regular Sunday afternoon milonga at Zanzibar 311 George St from 3.30. Private lessons are also available at $70 an hour.
